P.A.R.T. USA Presents
The Pain Truth Project
Comprehensive Chronic Pain Condition Guide
A growing national knowledge library created to help patients, families, caregivers, healthcare professionals, advocates, and policymakers find clear, credible information about chronic pain conditions in one place.
The truth about pain should be easier to find.
Chronic pain is not one condition and it does not have one story. The Pain Truth Project is being built as a living, carefully researched resource that explains the medical facts in plain language while also recognizing what patients and families experience in real life.
Browse Conditions A–Z
Select a letter to open the separate Condition Directory at that section. Each condition name will become a direct link when its complete guide has been researched, reviewed, and published.
What Each Guide Will Include
The same dependable structure will make every guide easier to read, compare, share, and update.
Plain-Language Overview
What the condition is, recognized types or subtypes, and how it may affect the body.
Symptoms & Diagnosis
Common signs, diagnostic criteria or testing, and reasons a diagnosis may be difficult or delayed.
Treatment & Care
Recognized treatment approaches, supportive care, and the types of specialists who may be involved.
Complications & Related Conditions
Possible complications, commonly coexisting conditions, and links to other completed guides.
For Family & Friends
A clear section patients can share with loved ones who want to understand and offer meaningful support.
Sources & Further Help
Reputable medical references, condition organizations, and carefully selected educational resources.
Share Your Experience
The project will include a moderated way for patients and caregivers to contribute lived-experience information. Contributors will be able to request anonymity, and submissions will not be published automatically. P.A.R.T. USA will review material and obtain permission before anything is shared publicly.
Accuracy Comes Before Speed
Older project material will be rechecked before publication. Guides will distinguish established medical information from emerging research, avoid promising a universal treatment, and link readers to sources that can be reviewed for themselves. As knowledge changes, published pages can be corrected and updated.
Help Us Build a Resource Worth Trusting
The Pain Truth Project will take careful research, patient insight, source review, writing, and continued maintenance. Whether you live with chronic pain, care for someone who does, or have professional knowledge to contribute, there will be a place to help.
The Pain Truth Project provides general educational information. It is not medical advice, does not diagnose any condition, and is not a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare professional.
