In the earliest days of this nation, families fought to secure liberty from centralized control. That liberty was not abstract — it was meant to protect everyday choices, including the right to seek care, to protect one’s children, and to make deeply personal decisions without unnecessary interference.

Over time, layers of regulation, profit-driven systems, and one-size-fits-all mandates have distanced medical care from the people it is meant to serve.

We recognize that safeguards are necessary to prevent abuse. History reminds us that harm can occur when power goes unchecked.

But the answer to a few bad actors is not blanket control over every doctor and every patient. The answer is balanced accountability that protects the vulnerable without stripping away freedom and clinical judgment.

We stand for compassionate, individualized medical care.

We defend the right of parents to advocate for their children.

We protect the ability of physicians to treat pain responsibly without fear of retaliation.

We oppose policies that place red tape between suffering patients and meaningful relief.

Pain does not discriminate. It touches the strong and the weak, the young and the old, the healthy and the chronically ill.

Every person, at some point in life, will rely on a healthcare system that either sees them as a human being — or as a liability.
