Collective Advocacy

By becoming a member, you understand that P.A.R.T. USA may speak on behalf of its membership collectively in advocacy, educational, legislative, regulatory, and public-policy settings.

This may include communicating with lawmakers, government agencies, medical and pharmacy boards, policymakers, healthcare stakeholders, the media, and the public regarding issues consistent with the mission of P.A.R.T. USA.

Your Individual Authority Remains Yours

Membership does not authorize P.A.R.T. USA to make medical, financial, legal, or personal decisions for you.

P.A.R.T. USA cannot sign contracts in your name, act as your individual attorney, establish a doctor-patient relationship, or make healthcare decisions on your behalf.

No Guaranteed Outcome

Advocacy can influence public policy, but no organization can guarantee the outcome of legislation, rulemaking, regulatory action, litigation, medical treatment, pharmacy decisions, insurance decisions, or government action.

P.A.R.T. USA works for systemic change while recognizing that many decisions ultimately remain in the hands of independent lawmakers, agencies, courts, healthcare professionals, pharmacies, insurers, and other outside parties.
